Beskrivelse
The political reshaping of Europe in 1989 implied a major strategic change for Denmark. At the same time, the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait and the subsequent war involved European countries in a major conflict that represented a major shift in Denmark’s understanding of its own security. In this study, Clive Archer explores the Danish debate about the future of its security in the light of the new situation in Europe in the early 1990s, and – to some extent – of the Gulf war.
